Sign in safari 5.1.712/14/2023 Fortunately, I don't really need Safari on this PC. I believe that installing Safari for Windows on this Windows 7 PC will be impossible without instructions for manually uninstalling Bonjour. I tried running all the copies of Bonjour.msi that I have, but they are all 32-bit or older versions, so none of them worked. During the iTunes installation, some component must need 64-bit Bonjour, as it gave the same error message as the Safari 5.1.7 installer, but the iTunes installation was able to proceed beyond that. I was luckily able to reinstall Quicktime 7.7.3 and iTunes 10.6.3 successfully. Windows 7's Uninstall Program tries to use a file located at C:\WINDOWS\Installer\285b363d.msi, but that gave the same unsuccessful result. It carried out a command " MsiExec.exe /)( " which gave the same original error message that it was intended for 32-bit Windows and I needed to obtain a 64-bit installer from a URL that does not offer it. However, UnInstaller 5 only tried to use the Windows uninstallation process. My Macbook, same year and OS as my iMac, was able to do it. I tried to use Ashampoo UnInstaller 5 to uninstall Bonjour that was installed (which may be the improper 32-bit version). Safari Update Trying to update to the latest version of Safari but my iMac does not offer software update and the App store only shows safari apps for iOS devices. I have worked on this problem a little bit more but with no success. I hope I will be able to reinstall QuickTime and iTunes 10.6.3 and iPod support software. Would it do any good to try to run those directly? (I also see BonjourPS64.msi, but I'm sure that's just the Print Services already installed.) Without more insight into that error message, I may just give up on installing Safari for Windows. I cannot tell by their appearance if they are 64-bit versions or 32-bit carried over from the XP computer's file transfers. 1.0.6, but that would not finish, telling me that a newer Bonjour is installed.) I have found among my backups some copies of files named Bonjour.msi (version 2.0.4.0) in Apple Installer Cache folders. (I have found on the Web an old version of 64-bit Bonjour installer, v. I could not find a specific 64-bit Bonjour installer here on the Apple Web site, only a Bonjour Print Services installer, which has already been run, so that is installed. (It is conceivable that that got copied over from a Windows XP computer that had it, so it might be a 32-bit version.) I am not sure how to uninstall that Bonjour manually. " The installed Bonjour is version 2.0.4.0 with a date of. That did not work, either, as the message related to my failed installation of Safari for Windows came up here: "This installer is intended for 32-bit versions of Windows. The uninstaller started up but quit, reproducibly, in the middle of the process, so that never got uninstalled. The "Uninstall or change a progam" Control Panel shows two versions of Apple Mobile Device Support: 3.3.0.69 and 5.2.0.6. I encountered a couple of problems in trying to do so. (which was for a different symptom, however). I started trying to follow the advice given here to uninstall various Apple software for Windows:
